Hi,
I'm Beverly: a photographer and a story teller.
my dear friend, Ted Yama from Sapporo calls me "the lady with the long lens", I love it.

My earliest pictures are of elderly men napping under the sun in Tel Aviv, the hustle and bustle of an outdoor market and the authentic eating places that surround it, the tiny streets of Jaffa leading to the port where fish are being caught and cooked on the spot. All were tucked in brown albums and put in the attic.
I put the camera down when I started a family and spent my time changing diapers for my four boys. But when those boys grew up to be young men, I picked up my camera and went exploring life and vistas once again.
A photojournalist at heart, I try to document life. I learned my craft by taking pictures of the world around me, studying the works of my favorite photographers and getting inspired by the work of others.
With my camera in hand, I am drawn to far away places. I’ve backpacked across India, Japan and Argentina, connecting with amazing people, uncovering challenging cultures and discovering new landscapes.
I hope to inspire you to do the same.
